Must have a current unencumbered nursing license from the State of Oregon Board of Nursing. Schedule:  no nights or weekends. Responsibilities included but not limited to:  Provides professional nursing care for assigned patients in the recovery room. RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.        Performs circulation and/or scrub nurse duties during operating room procedures.

2.      Schedules operating room cases; coordinates pre-op and post-op patient care.

3.      Assists with clinical procedures such as biopsies; notifies patients of pathology results as appropriate.

4.      Maintains records and slides as appropriate.

5.      May train and/or guide technical and support staff in clinical and surgical settings.

6.      Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards.

7.      Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

 

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Associate's degree in Nursing with 1 to 3 years experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Candidates applying for this position ((must)) have current clinic experience and a unencumbered Oregon RN license to qualify

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

NW Portland specialty clinic is expanding their practice to add a MRI Technologist with a minimum of 1-year current experience. Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited program and possess a MRI certification. Must have a current AART unencumbered license and certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.). Duties - Instructs patients regarding magnetic resonance imaging procedures; prepares, positions, and manipulates patients to ensure appropriate placement for imaging, elects appropriate imaging techniques, and calibrates console and peripheral hardware, as required. Obtains images, produces film records and backups from desk to storage media, and transfers from desk to work stations. Develops film in automatic processor and inspects for quality and completeness. Enters and monitors patient data, and maintains accurate study documentation. Performs quality assurance on magnetic resonance equipment and laser camera. Performs physical inventories and maintains clinic supplies. May provide instruction and guidance in magnetic resonance imaging procedures and equipment/facilities usage to staff and/or students in training, as specifically assigned, on a task basis. Ensures adherence to established University and departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance programs, and safety standards. May assist in research and/or clinical subject scheduling. Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise. Southeast Portland medical company seeks certified coder. Responsibilities: Extract codes from medical records. Must have a minimum of 3-5 years coding experience. Company has several positions open and some are permanent, some temporary. Company provides coding services to in-patient and out -patient environments. There may be travel depending on the individual and, depending on performance, may include working from home. Prefer RHIT certification but open to CPC. Company seeks to fill an onsite auditor position in Portland/Salem, and there is also a position open for a local/remote coder/auditor. Both are full-time positions. Coder will ensure that medical charts have accurate and complete information. Will specialize in coding medical information for health insurance billing purposes. Skills Required: 3-5 years coding experience, strong analytical skills and excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
Past hospital/physician office experience is a plus
Must be capable of producing detailed, comprehensive documentation and reports. $20-$25/hr
